Boone County Health Center has been named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital for the fourth year in a row.
This national recognition is measured by the Hospital Strength Index, an objective and in-depth analysis designed to bring clarity and insight to hospital performance in an increasingly complex and regulated competitive environment.
“We’re honored to once again be selected for this distinction,” said Health Center CEO Vic Lee of the 2016 honor. “People within the community have experienced for themselves the quality of care we provide, but national recognition like this is another indicator that we’re really among the best of the best.”
In a time when many rural hospitals are struggling to keep the doors open, BCHC continues to be a steady and reliable source of health care services for the 10,000 rural residents it serves, said Lee.
