Henry, Hansen set for 58th Nebraska Shrine Bowl

Two Boone Central seniors will continue the tradition of Cardinals participating in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl all-star football game.
Keaton Henry and David Hansen will be members of the North team in the 58th Annual Shrine Bowl of Nebraska June 4 at Ron and Carol Cope Stadium at Foster Field on the University of Nebraska-Kearney campus.
There will be a full day of Shrine activities, beginning with the Shrine Bowl Parade in downtown Kearney at 10 a.m. The all-star game is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. The annual Shrine Bowl, first formed in 1958, is held to raise revenue to support Shriner’s Hospitals for Children and to benefit Shrine Hospital transportation funds.
