By Tuesday morning, May 10, corn planting was estimated at 90 percent complete in the area, while soybean planting was estimated at about 20 percent complete.
The area received about a half inch of rain Sunday night and Monday. This followed about three inches of rainfall April 27-May 2.
Statewide on Monday, corn planting was estimated at 53 percent complete, while soybean planting was 13 percent complete.
