Two applicants gained recommendations for approval of conditional use permit applications from the Boone County Planning Commission Monday night, and one applicant received a recommendation for denial.
The planning board held public hearings on each of the permit requests for rural land splits in A1 primary agricultural zones.
The board recommended approval of conditional use permits for lot splits requested by Chuck and Deb Beckwith and the Harold H. Rudman II Trust, with conditions attached for permanent easements or waivers to allow for present and future agricultural practices.
The board recommended denial of a conditional use permit for a land split because no waiver of distance had been provided for the livestock facility in the vicinity.
