New Albion business features renovated building, ties to the past

A new business, Barn Wood & Brush Strokes, is opening in Albion today, June 1, at 410 West Main Street.
The building at 410 West Main Street has undergone extensive remodeling over the past several months, and it has a colorful history in Albion.
Owner Jamie Kohl noted the building was a pool hall for many years, and more recently was the western portion of Albion True Value store.
Jaime’s description of her new shop is “refurbished antiques, and rustic and shabby chic decor.” The business fits well with her interests of finding and refurbishing antiques, and creating finished ceramics, she said
