This large tractor-trailer and its cargo stopped traffic for a time in Albion Tuesday morning, June 7.
The rig was hauling a huge new transformer bound for a substation in Neligh, where it will be part of the Hoskins to Neligh 345kV transmission line.
The replacement transformer was needed to replace one that had failed in testing recently.
Installation of this transformer is expected to take about two weeks, and the Hoskins to Neligh line should be energized by the end of June, according to NPPD.
