The Albion Cornerstone Legion Seniors had another tough tournament trip, as their 2016 season record dipped to 3-9.
Cornerstone, which earlier lost four games at the Bellevue Legion tournament, dropped three contests in tournament play at Crete this past weekend and went 0-for-4 over the week.
The Albion Seniors trekked to Greeley June 7 and lost an 11-5 decision to host PWG.
The Albion Seniors opened the tournament Friday with a 9-7 loss to host Crete, again surrenduring an early advantage.
Cornerstone faced Pleasant Dale Saturday and dropped a 9-4 decision.
Cornerstone closed the tournament in much the same heartbreaking fashion it began, losing a 6-5 decision to Lincoln Lutheran later Saturday.
