The Smoke n Chrome Car Show has become a tradition in Albion on the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend, and this year’s seventh annual event was again successful.
Many unique classic and new vehicles again lined Third and Main Streets downtown for this event.
Despite the heat, a total of 150 cars, trucks and motorcycles were displayed, and at least 400 to 500 people viewed the show.
A highlight this year was presentation of the first annual Bob Schalk Memorial Best of Show trophy to Wayne Foster of Omaha for his custom 1951 Mercury.
