Joe Anna C. Hemmingsen, 89, of Saint Edward, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Cloverlodge Care Center in Saint Edward.
Joe Anna is survived by her daughter: Jane (Leo) Rutten of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, all of Lincoln: Anne Rutten, Ginger (John) Woodring, Matthew Rutten, and Mark Rutten; two great-grandsons: Jacob and Joseph Woodring, also of Lincoln; two brothers: Francis (Carol) Eschliman of Twin Falls, ID and George Eschliman of Omaha; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, July 18, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids with Rev. Vern Olson officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
