Rasmussen files as write-in for commissioner

Alan Rasmussen of rural Albion filed last week as a write-in candidate for Boone County Commissioner, District 2.
Rasmussen filed for the office last Friday, July 22, according to the County Clerk’s office.
He will oppose Tom Fick, who won a close four-way Republican race for the office in the May primary election.
As of Monday, no new candidates had filed for village board seats in Petersburg or Primrose. Two candidates are needed to fill village board seats in Petersburg, and one is needed in Primrose.
