Total attendance was estimated at 800 people, with 22 grilling teams competing for the $2,200 in total prize money.
New winners were named in several competitions this year. The ribs competition was judged this year by the Greater Omaha Barbecue Association after grillers had worked throughout the day on their specialties.
“We had something for all ages this year, great weather and music, and people stayed and participated for the whole time,” said Albion Chamber President Lori Krohn.
