Petersburg wins top awards in Keep Nebraska Beautiful

Petersburg earned yet another first place award in the Keep Nebraska Beautiful Conference held Aug. 24-25, 2016 in Lincoln.
The two-day workshops afforded a time for learning, sharing and networking with others who work to improve the local environment.
Petersburg won first place and received an engraved plaque. The community then received the Overall Deanie Anderson Award, 0 to 10,000 plus. For this coveted award, Petersburg received the traveling trophy plaque and a $100 check for community improvement.
The Deanie Anderson Award covers everything environmental that took place in the Petersburg community from August 1, 2015 through June 1, 2016.
