Leetch will be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation of patient care, which is provided in the emergency department at BCHC.
“We are excited to have Tara Leetch, RN. as our new ER supervisor and trauma coordinator,” said Cindy Lesiak RN, vice president of patient services. “She has been a valuable asset at Boone County Health Center for eight years and consistently provides our patients with exceptional care. I have no doubt she will lead others to do the same in her new role in the ER.”
Leetch will be a clinical resource, participating in decisions regarding standards, protocols, equipment, and supplies. She will also play a crucial role in addressing clinical concerns.
Leetch will begin her new role Sept. 6, taking over for Scott Shriver, RN. Shriver served as emergency room supervisor and trauma coordinator for 16 years and has plans to relocate with his family.
