Budgets were approved this week by the Boone County Commissioners and the Boone Central School Board for the 2016-17 fiscal year.
Property taxes for the county budget will rise nine percent to $3,635,029.
Boone Central’s total property taxes will increase by 2.9 percent to $7,758,478.
Albion City Council was set to consider its 2016-17 budget on Tuesday night, Sept. 13.
