Longtime Albion businessman James “Jim” L. Wells, 72, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, at his home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife Candice of Albion; four children: Tim Wells (fiancé Cathy Connot) of O’Neill; Mark Wells of Neligh; Callie (Joel) Vavra of Elkhorn; Michael (Mary) Wells of Omaha; eight grandchildren: Mason and Hannah Wells, Jaxson, Parker, Alex and Keenan Vavra, Lyla and Wyatt Wells; one brother: Richard (Sharalyn) Wells of Neligh; one sister: Rebecca (Darrell) Pritchard of Alta, IA; two brothers-in-law: Larry (Alexis) Kirschmer and Wayne Herley, both of O’Neill; sister-in-law: Theresa Schwager of Fremont; six nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and great nephews; along with many cousins, other relatives and many friends.
