CVA buys Green Plains facility at St. Edward

Central Valley Ag (CVA) has announced the purchase of the Green Plains Grain Company facility in St. Edward, expanding their ability to better serve member-owners.
The agreement between CVA and Green Plains Grain was to be finalized before Sept. 1, 2017. Following closing, CVA will operate the new facility in conjunction with their existing facility in St. Edward.
“We look forward to the opportunity to grow our business and serve the producers of St. Edward through our current facility, as well as the new acquisition,” said Matt Ashton, senior vice president of Grain at CVA. “With the purchase of this facility, CVA continues to make a strong commitment to the producers in the area to service their needs today and going forward.”
Central Valley Ag is a farmer-owned cooperative headquartered in York, with locations in Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska.
