Sackschewsky to conduct Choral Clinic here Jan. 15

David Sackschewsky of Grand Island will serve as guest clinician for the 73rd annual Boone Central High School Choral Clinic, which will be held next Monday, Jan. 15, in the school’s performance gym.
Some 245 students from 13 area high schools are expected to participate. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m.
Mr. Sachschewsky was scheduled to lead last year, but the clinic had to be canceled due to bad weather.
He is director of choirs at Grand Island Northwest High School. He and his wife, Julie, are founders of the Great Plains Children’s Choir, a 30-voice children’s choir in central Nebraska.
He is the co-author of “The Music Teacher’s First Aid Kit,” and co-founder of the website: ChoralStrategies.com.. He is a brother-in-law of Brock and Alison Kuester of Albion.
