Merriam A. Miller, 100, of Hastings, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings.
Merriam is survived by her five children: Mary Elizabeth (Bob) Kimbrell of Orlando, FL; Michael Ray (Dagmar) Miller of Denver, CO; Robert Allen (Donna) Miller of China Grove, NC; Timothy Lee (Cheryl Dozler) Miller of Medford, OR; Jeffery Lynn (Claudia) Miller of Parker, CO; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Robert Joseph (Stacy) Miller and children Henry and Owen; Russell (Rachel) Miller and children Thomas and Amelia Mae; Valerie (Rob) Yates and children Alexis and Declan; Emily, Stan, and Andrea Miller; Mackenzie Lynn, Samuel Hans, and Adela Maria Miller; and Julia Steiner Miller; brother Richard (Connie) Gerhart of Hastings; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stanley; three sisters: her twin Mildred Fleming, Betty Hinzman, and Katherine Lesperance; two brothers: Eugene Gerhart, Jr., and Charles Gerhart.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion with Fr. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial followed at the parish cemetery.
