Several housing projects are underway in Petersburg this spring, with basements dug recently in three locations.
One small home was lifted from its foundation on the Petersburg Industrial Development Corp. property north of the fire hall and moved by George Majerus to its new location two blocks south. Baker and Simons will be installing the basement and remodeling the home on Rae Street to be sold.
