The Boone Central/Newman Grove and Riverside High School were among the boys golf teams taking advantage of a rare day of mild weather conditions in a nine-hole quadrangular meet at Pawnee Hills Golf Course in Fullerton April 10.
Boone Central/Newman Grove placed second to host Fullerton in the varsity and junior varsity divisions, and Riverside finished fourth in the varsity competition.
Cardinals Bradon Anderson placed third individually with a round of 42 and teammate Garrett Cornwell carded a 43 to finish fourth. BC/NG’s Mack Nelson also finished in the top ten individuals with a round of 47.
Riverside’s Daniel Lozano (44) and Joseph Bloom (45) placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
In the JV competition, Cards Kade Noble (48) and Ty Borer (49) took second and third places.
