Carl Arthur Otto Eucker, 99, of Albion passed away Saturday, April 21 2018, at the Good Samaritan Society in Albion.
Carl is survived by his wife: Elaine Eucker of Albion; three children: Connie Vitek of Fremont; Carmen (Vivian) Eucker of Albion; Chawna Dodendorf of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; eight sisters: Alvina (Fred) Borgelt; Martha (in infancy); Dorothy (Carl) Steuck; Helen (Victor) Flesner; Leota (Art) Wedekind; LaVerna (Gilbert) Freudenburg; baby (still born); Marjorie (Harold) Schulz; two brothers: Kenneth (in youth) and Donald (Dorothy) Eucker; and son-in-law: Edward Vitek.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion with Rev. Mary Frohs officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, with military rites by American Legion Post 162, VFW Post 736, and the American Legion Riders.
