Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School will hold its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 1:30 pm in the St. Boniface Auditorium in Elgin.
There will be 16 seniors who will be honored.
Cole Preister, son of Scott and Kay Priester, will be graduating.
Other class members are: Taralyn Baum, daughter of Chris and Jeanine Baum; Heather Bauer, daughter of Terry and Mary Jane Bauer; Madison Dilly, daughter of Doug and Shawn Dilly; Grace Henn, daughter of Tom and Sandi Henn; Logan Henn, son of Denis and Jan Henn; Brianna Hupp, daughter of Ben and Jamie Hupp; Sydney Kerkman, daughter of Steve and Becky Kerkman; Ashton Krebs, son of Jason Krebs and Alissa Krebs; Calli Krebs, daughter of Jeff and Lynette Krebs; Marie Meis, daughter of Jim and Anne Meis; Paige Meis, daughter of Ben and Anna Meis; Elizabeth Mlnarik, daughter of Tom and Sue Mlnarik; Cameron Nielsen, son of Dane Nielsen and Jennifer Blackburn-Nielsen; Nickol Payne, daughter of Ray and Peggy Payne; Cole Preister, son of Scott and Kay Preister; Wenting Yu, daughter of Li Wang and Dengyu Yu.
The class speaker will be Marie Meis. The class motto is, “Greet the future with anticipation. Dream big and work hard. Remember your roots, manners, and the way home. ”
The class of 2018 is the 51st graduating class at Pope John.
