On one of the nicest golf days of the spring, the Boone Central/Newman Grove Cardinals turned in one of their best performances of the 2018 season.
BC/NG compiled a 357 team total at Pawnee Hills Golf Course to place third in the Fullerton Invitational Tuesday, May 8. Battle Creek (312) won the tournament title, followed by David City (344).
Senior Garrett Cornwell paced the Cardinals, finishing 11th among the Top 15 medalists with an 18-hole score of 82. Bradon Anderson was 20th in the field with an 88. Rounding out Boone Central/Newman Grove’s team score were Bryton Fowlkes (90) and Wade Hendrickson (97).
