Marjorie “Marj” Mae Johnson, 99, peacefully passed to be with her Lord at the Callaway Good Life Care Center of Callaway, on May 7, 2018.
She is survived by her three sons Virgil (Barbara) Johnson, Berwyn; Doug (Margaret) Johnson, Broken Bow; and Tim (Lenni) Johnson, Hemingford; brother Robert E. Bittner of Albion; grandchildren Gregg (Holly) Johnson of Berwyn, Sara (Joe) Peneton of Arvada CO, Katy Johnson of Scottsbluff, Keri Johnson of Shawnee, KS, Andy Johnson of Bellevue, and Brook (Brian) Johnson of Hemingford. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son David Johnson, sister Frances (Bittner) Johnson, brothers Don and Darrell Bittner.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran or American Legion Auxiliary or the donor’s choice.
Graveside services were held on Monday May 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Hope Cemetery Newman Grove with Reverend Becky Beckmann officiating. The Newman Grove Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
