Thomas “Tom” Richard Hartford, 92, of Kearney, formerly of Albion, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Kearney.
Tom is survived by his wife: Donna Marcus Hartford of Kearney; son Tom (Kelly) Hartford Jr. of Cibolo, TX; daughter Vicki Laskowski of Kearney; five grandchildren: Capt. Jordan (Brooke) Laskowski of Holly Ridge, NC; Barry (Jolene) Teeple of Grand Junction, CO; Dr. Ashley (Brian) Hopkins of Austin, TX; Jason Hartford of England; Rachel Hartford of Milford, OH; three great grandchildren: Wyatt Hopkins and Gideon Hopkins of Austin, TX; Emmett Teeple of Grand Junction, CO; sister-in-law: Ruth Hartford of Loretto; brother-in-law: Andy Schick of North Platte; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty Lou Hartford; son Dr. James Hartford; two brothers: Bill Hartford and Bob Hartford; five sisters: Irene Loeffler; Mildred Douty; Darlene Schick; Marge Taylor and Dorothy Ostendorf; and mother-in-law Ruth McBride.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at Levander Funeral Home in Albion with Rev. Mary Avidano officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Levander Funeral Home.
