Despite taking their first losses of the 2018 season, the Albion Cornerstone Legion Baseball Seniors came out of a hot and exhausting weekend at the Crete Tournament with valuable experience and solid overall results.

Albion Cornerstone began the Crete Tourney by holding off Pleasantdale for a 9-8 victory Friday, June 15.
Gering 12, Albion Srs. 6
Albion Cornerstone suffered its initial loss of the campaign later Friday, as a tough Gering squad broke open a tight contest with six runs in the final two frames.
Wilbur 9, Albion Srs. 8
Wilbur nipped Cornerstone 9-8, as the Albion Seniors dropped the first of consecutive one-run heartbreakers Saturday morning.
Malcolm 11, Albion Srs. 10
Albion Cornerstone fell just shy again in its final game, as Malcolm tallied a fifth-inning run to close out an 11-10 decision.
