Petersburg Carnival Days water fights provided many hours of entertainment last Wednseday evening, June 29.
A total of eight teams participated in the kid’s water fights.
Kids water fight winners were: First place-team of Dylan Baumgartner Colton Simons, Karley Wies and Kaden Stokes. Second place was the team of The Falcons: James Fogleman, Caden Stokes, Natalie S. and Ella Fogleman.
Albion, Elgin and Petersburg Fire Departments vied in the adults water fights.
Elgin Fire Department sweeped the win.
First place was earned by Elgin 1. Team members were Justin Henn, Greg Henn, Duane Miller and Jay Evans.
Second place was earned by Elgin 2. Team members were Adam Veik, Dan Veik, Craig Niewohner and Bud Miller.
Third place was won by Petersburg A. Team members were Danny Henn, Tyson Lodge, Jared Seier and Marc Pelster.
Fourth place was the Bubbles in the Tub team. Team included: A. J. Jacobson, Boomer Baumgartner, Clint Baumgartner and Buzz Wies.
Master of Ceremonies for Wednesday evening was Alan Temme.
