Helen Carolyn (Loseke) Matson, 96, of Newman Grove, passed away Sept. 20, 2018 at the Wolf Memorial Home in Albion.
Helen is survived by sons, Robert (Donna) Matson of Monroe and Donald (Nancy) Matson of Lincoln, daughter Yvonne (Rodney) Julsen of Newman Grove; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, a son, and a granddaughter, five sisters and four brothers.
Helen will be remembered as loving and kind, with an inner strength to persevere through some of life’s most difficult events. She will also be remembered for the sense of humor that still keeps family smiling.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at the United Methodist Church, Newman Grove, with burial at Hope Cemetery, Newman Grove.
Newman Grove Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
