Boone Central School Board accepted sealed bids on two parcels of real estate during its regular meeting Monday night, Oct. 8.
The board approved motions authorizing Board President Patti Meyer to execute the sale of both properties.
Two bids were received for property #1, a tract of about one-half acre located on the south side of Fairview Street in Albion. The board accepted the high bid of $22,000 from Dustin Sears for this property.
Three bids were received for property #2, a home with two lots at 933 South First Street in Albion. The board accepted the high bid of $65,000 from Brenda Blunt for this property.
A one-hour closed session was held at the end of Monday night’s meeting to receive and discuss legal advice and discuss real estate negotiations. No action was taken after the closed session.
