REIGNING AT COLOR DAY — King Ethan Dozler, son of Ron and Jennifer Dozler, and Queen Stephanie Wright, daughter of Doug and Michelle Wright, (seated, center) were crowned Saturday night at Boone Central Color Day activities. They are flanked by pages Jason Frey, son of Justin and Brenda Frey, and Joslyn EIckhoff, daughter of Jeff and Erin Eickhoff. Royal court (back row, l.-r.) included first attendants Grace Slizoski, daughter of Steve and Valorie Slizoski, and Scott Wright, son of Doug and Michele Wright, and second attendants (tie vote) Carsen Grape, daughter of Jeff and Sarah Grape; Carter Henry, son of Brian and Sandy Henry; Jon Merten, son of Randy and Lori Merten, and Katie Goodwater, daughter of Mike and Christy Goodwater.

Color Day festivities again honored all school organizations and the 47 seniors at Boone Central High School last Saturday night, Oct. 13.
Students had participated in various Spirit Week events throughout the week leading up to Color Day.
Mistresses of ceremonies were Layne Hudson and Erin Reynoldson. They introduced the school’s 20 organizations represented by banner carriers.
A highlight of Saturday’s program was the announcement of Color Day royalty, Stephanie Wright and Ethan Dozler, along with their royal court.
The evening began with a performance of “Can’t Fight This Feeling” by senior choir members under the direction of Michele Wright.
Class competitions continue through the school year. Freshmen are currently leading, with seniors in second place, juniors in third and sophomores in fourth place.
