Stanley Joseph Modelski, 86, of St. Edward, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 at his home in St. Edward.
Stanley is survived by his wife Kathleen of St. Edward; two daughters: Rhonda (Mark) Ehlers and Sheryl (Greg) Rosno, both of St. Edward; five grandchildren: Chase Ehlers of Elkhorn, Whitney (Eric) Smith of St. Edward, Natalie (Frank) Finkral of Norfolk, Alicia Rosno of Lincoln and Nick (Danielle) Wieser of Glenrock, WY; four great grandchildren: Ava Smith, Kaysen Finkral, Emma and Miles Wieser; sisters-in-law: Bertie Modelski of Columbus, Diana Schroeder of Madison and Ethel Sawyer of Howells; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Eddie (Esther), John Jr., Michael, Leo (Barbara and Esther), Virgil Modelski, Minnie Richardson, Mary Dorothy (Frank) Szatko, Helen (Walter) Sokol and Stella (Alva) Cruise; in-laws: Duane (Connie) Sawyer, John “Jack” Sawyer and Ron Schroeder.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward with Rev. Bill L’Heureux officiating.
