Arlene Sawyer, 97, of Newman Grove, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove.
Arlene is survived by daughter, Marie (John) Albracht of Columbus, sons Jerry (Lois) Sawyer and Milan (Jeanie) Sawyer, all of Newman Grove, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren, two step great-great-grandchildren, and sister Anna Durand of David City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grant, two infant sisters, Ruby and Lillie, sister Della Saltzman, and brothers: Arvid, Elvin, John and Ralph Thompson.
Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newman Grove with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery at Petersburg.
