Dolend K. Swanson, 90, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at David Place in David City.
Dolend is survived by son Ken (Diane) Swanson of Monroe; granddaughter Christina Behrens of Monroe; grandson Gregory Swanson of Belgrade; great grandchildren Hope Behrens of Monroe, Gabrielle Swanson of Columbus, Isabelle Swanson of Belgrade; and sister Ruth Pribnow of Albion.
Dolend was preceded in death by parents John and Bada Swanson, wife Phyllis Swanson, son Robert Swanson, granddaughter Lisa Swanson, brothers Clarence, Chester, Arvid, Donald and Leon Swanson, and sisters Normi Swanson and Myrtle Ponek.
The funeral service was held Friday, Dec. 14, at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Ramstad officiating.
