On Wednesday, Dec. 12, students of the Boone Central FFA attended District Leadership Development Events in Aurora. There were a total of 56 junior high and high school members who attended.
Four members qualified for the opportunity to compete at the State FFA Convention in April and many members came up just short. Two of the four won their competition. Rebecca Dozler won Cooperative Speaking and Brant Benes won Discovery Speaking. Gavin Dozler received second in Creed Speaking and Kalli Niemann earned second in Natural Resources.
