On Wednesday, Jan. 16, the Boone County Health Center hosted its first ever blood drive. The drive was specifically hosted for BCHC employees, who are sometimes unable to leave work to donate at other locations. The hospital collected 38 units, exceeding its 30 unit goal. Because of the great response, the BCHC will be hosting another drive in early April.
