Final tallies, with sponsor dollars added as incentive funds, are in for the 2018 Boone County Big Give.
The 27 participating organizations received a total of $184,771 from the annual fund-raising effort held Nov. 26 through Dec. 1.
This was the fifth year of the Big Give, and through five years it has raised a total of $854,641 for participating organizations.
With the exception of 2018, the number of donors has increased by an average of 194 each year.

After the first four years, more than 55 projects, out of 77 total, have been started and completed to support quality of life across Boone County.
“The Big Give has helped to ignite and strengthen the philanthopic spirit of our communities,” said Stokes.
