Kohl opens professional horseshoeing business

Albion native Logan Kohl recently established Kohl Professional Horseshoeing, serving east and central Nebraska.
Kohl, a 2018 graduate of Boone Central High School, attended Butler Professional Horseshoeing School in Crawford, where he completed the farrier course and received his certification in the fall of 2018.
He decided to pursue this profession because he grew up with horses and has always been interested in the equine field.
His favorite aspect of the job is the challenge of using corrective shoeing and trimming to help horses with lameness issues.
He said he also enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
“I enjoy working with horses and talking to people who are passionate about horses, and this career allows me to do both,” Kohl said. “I hope to offer the community quality care to help keep their horses healthy.”
Clients can schedule appointments by calling 402-741-9535 or find the business on Facebook at Kohl Professional Horseshoeing.
