Boone Central FBLA members compete at national convention

Boone Central representatives at the National FBLA Leadership Conference were, l.-r., Shalee Grape, Katie Goodwater, advisor Joel Sup and Scott Wright.

Three Boone Central students were members of the Nebraska FBLA contingent attending the recent FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX.
During the conference, 12,000 FBLA members compete in a variety of events, attend educational seminars and workshops, and participate in selection of national officers for FBLA.
The team of Scott Wright and Katie Goodwater represented Nebraska FBLA in the Entrepreneurship event.
Shalee Grape represented Nebraska FBLA in the Introduction to Public Speaking event.
When they weren’t competing, the trio participated in workshops, seminars, and political events.
All three students were voting delegates for the election of the new Mountain Plains Region Vice-President. This year, the current Nebraska FBLA President Drake Vorderstrasse was elected Mountain Plains Region Vice-President.
