For 30 years, Dr. Thu Truong, DDS, has been practicing dentistry in Newman Grove, when he joined the practice of Dr. Edward Quincy.
Dr. Truong received his degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in May 1988. He did his general practice residency at UNMC in Omaha from July 1988 to July 1989.
He and his wife Bich Chau, then moved to Newman Grove in 1989 to work under Dr. Edward Quincy. He traveled to the St. Edward and Spalding offices and worked in the office in Newman Grove.
He later bought the dental office from Dr. Edward Quincy at 412 Hale Avenue in Newman Grove in 2002. His hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Newman Grove, and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in St. Edward.
Dr. Truong’s practice is general dentistry. His wife works in Lincoln as a family medicine practitioner at Bluestem Health. Their daughter, Tiffany, lives in Omaha and attends UNMC as a second-year medical student. Their son, Baolong, is a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in chemistry.
