Maurice “Morrie” F. Henn

Maurice “Morrie” Frederick Henn, 85, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Morrie is survived by his five children: David (Jeanette) of Elgin, Douglas (Cinda) of Omaha, Diane (Keith) Beierman of Albion, Dale Henn of Petersburg, and Denise (Jeff) Veerhusen of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren: Justin (Savannah) Henn of Elgin, Jessica (Craig) Niewohner of Elgin, Morgan Henn of Albion, Joshua (Amanda) Beierman of Albion, Kevin (Natalie) Beierman of Albion, and Keri (Jon) Roeber of Wakefield; three great grandchildren: Sydney, Jacob and Cole Niewohner and three on the way; two sisters: Donna Ketteler of Petersburg and Marlene McClinton of Omaha; brother Duane (Marilyn) Henn of Kimberling City, MO; brothers-in-law Henry (Marilyn) Ketteler of Petersburg and Jim (Rosemary) Ketteler of Atkinson; sister-in-law Helen (Larry) Borer; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolly, parents Delbert and Nora Henn, father and mother-in-law Joe and Louise Ketteler; sister LaVonne Henn; brothers-in-law Bud Ketteler and Bob McClinton; brothers and sisters-in-law Ken and Pat Schumacher, and niece Deb Wiseman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg with Fr. Kevin Vogel officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 334 of Petersburg, Army Funeral Honor Guard, and the American Legion Riders.
