Darlene Korus

Darlene Korus, 90, of Lindsay, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove. Darlene is survived by sons: Lonnie Korus of Omaha, Tom (Sue) Korus and Dan (Cathy) Korus, all of Lindsay, LeRoy (Elaine) Korus of Kearney, Dale (Mary Sue) Korus of Arlington and John “Jay” Korus of Lincoln; daughters: Ann (Don) Fischer of Lincoln, Lori (Keith) Langan of Norfolk and Coni (Bruce) Masteller of Lindsay; 33 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and brother Bill Albracht of Broken Bow.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Isabelle (Schaefer) Albracht, husband John Korus, daughter-in-law Carol Korus, grandson David Mathew Korus, brothers: Alphonse and Clarence “Bud” Albracht; sisters: Clara Backes, Helen Breidert, Mildred Dahlhauser, Gertrude Faltin, Loretta Finn, Alvina Chevrier, Germaine Schmidt and Bonnie Helmberger.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay with Fr. Eric Olsen, Fr. Jim Novotny, and Fr. Jim Kramper co-celebrating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
