A new business, Beaver Creek Machine, has opened in the Petersburg area and is offering machining, fabrication and welding repair.
John Wagner, a 2015 graduate of Boone Central High School, operates the shop at the ranch owned by his parents, Mark and Bonnie Wagner, on Beaver Valley Road.
John has always been interested in mechanics. He worked with his dad and has done many of his own projects since middle school. He graduated in May 2019 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical systems management.
“I do rebuilds, and I can make new parts to replace worn out parts,” said John.
He opened his shop in September 2019. He is equipped with MIG and TIG welders and can weld aluminum or steel. He has a vertical mill, horizontal lathe, press brake and a variety of other equipment to facilitate repair work.
