AEDC seeks information to aid local businesses

Albion Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is developing an assistance program for local Al­bion businesses dealing with CO­VID-19 challenges.
The board is seeking certain financial information to help them develop the plan, and is extending the deadline for submission to Friday, May 22, at 5 p.m.
The AEDC board is asking Al­bion businesses within city limits to provide the following informa­tion to be considered for the assis­tance program:
• Your name, business name, phone number, and email address.
• Have you applied for the Pay­check Protection Program and/or the Economic Injury Impact Loan through the Small Business Ad­ministration? If so, have you been approved?
• Provide a copy of February and March 2019 Sales Tax Revenue Re­ports.
• Provide a copy of February and March 2020 Sales Tax Revenue Re­ports.
• Provide a copy of paid March 2020 utility bills (water, electric, gas and sewer).
Please place the requested infor­mation and documents in a sealed envelope and drop off at the BCDA office drop box, located at 233 South 4th Street, Albion, by May 22.

Finalized program details will then be announced to the public. Current members of AEDC will be given priority for this program. All businesses who are interested must submit the information above. Additional information may be re­quested at a later date.
