BCHC board approves values schedule for addition

A schedule of values for the Boone County Health Center outpatient and surgical expansion were approved by the BCHC Board of Trustees at their monthly meeting Tuesday night, April 28.
Total schedule of values for the 44,000 square foot building is $21,172,133, and is a guaranteed maximum price as agreed by the construction manager, Beckenhauer Construction, Inc., and the hospital board based on current plans.
The guaranteed maximum price is still subject to any additions or deletions that could result in change orders for the project.

The schedule of values for the structure includes all aspects of construction, as well as the builder’s fee ($487,812), builder’s risk insurance ($40,344), building permit fee ($6,200), insurance ($264,302), construction contingency ($911,322), owner’s contingency ($911,322), and a performance and payment bond ($123,051).
