Plans for the annual Albion/Boone Central Alumni Banquet and Smoke ‘n Chrome Car Show have been cancelled for this summer due to the COVID-19 directed health measures.
The alumni committee announced cancellation of the banquet last week. It had been scheduled for Saturday, June 20, in the Boone Central Gym, and the car show was planned downtown on Saturday morning.
On May 4, the alumni committee issued the following announcement:
“The alumni committee, along with input from the school, decided it is best to cancel the 2020 alumni banquet. It will not be rescheduled for later this year.
If you purchased a ticket you will be reimbursed as soon as possible.
Thank you for understanding and please help spread the word.”
