A variety of purchases were approved by the Boone County Commissioners during their regular meeting Monday, May 18.
The largest expenditure was $52,673 for a County Road Department gravel trailer from R-Way Trailers of Long Prairie, MN.
Several purchases were also approved for the Sheriff’s office, including “electronic generated uniform citation equipment” presented by Sheriff Denny Johnson for the five law enforcement vehicles.
Commissioners also accepted a proposal from Mike’s Glass Service, Columbus, to install glass and plexiglass safety barriers in various offices to prepare the courthouse for re-opening.
