Opening of the Albion Family Aquatic Center is still planned for Saturday, June 20, according to Andrew Devine, city administrator.
The pool will follow directed health measures from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, as well as CDC guidelines.
Capacity will be limited to 25 percent, which is 80 patrons at one time, not including staff. Management will decide on the most appropriate opening method before the first day.
No groups larger than six persons will be allowed to form. Social distancing requirements will be enforced for each group.
The CDC encourages patrons use face masks when not in the water. Frequent hand washing is also encouraged. Patrons and/or staff with symptoms, positive tests, or presumed exposure to COVID-19 within the previous 14 days should stay home.
No pool parties will be scheduled until further notice.
