Weather permitting, construction work will begin on Highway 14 in Albion the week of June 8, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Work will begin at the N-14/N-39 junction south of Albion and continue through Albion to the Beaver Creek Bridge, approximately one-quarter of a mile north of Albion. The project will include concrete work, asphalt overlay, new ADA ramps, curb repair and bridge work.
When bridgework begins, traffic will be restricted to one lane approximately one-quarter mile north of Albion at the Beaver Creek Bridge crossing, and will be maintained with temporary traffic signals. Anticipated completion is mid-November 2020.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near construction zones, to expect delays, and buckle up.
