George (Banjo) Richard Douglas of Albion, previously from Lincoln, died June 4, 2020 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Survivors include his five children: Richard and (Elena) Douglas of Cincinnati, OH, Elaine and (Ross) Hulse of Albion, Michael Douglas of Bennet, Dale Douglas of Milligan and David (Alison) Douglas of Lincoln, seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, brother William L. Douglas of Hickman, sister-in-law Norma Hackbarth of Des Moines, IA, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Shirley in February of 2019.
