Petersburg Veterans Memorial dedication set July 4

A long standing plan of American Legion Post 334 to build a Veterans’ Memorial is reaching completion at the west edge of the village park in Petersburg.
The new memorial will be dedicated in ceremonies on July 4th at 10:00 a.m.
Planning has been underway for at least a dozen years. Donations have been received and accumulated over the years until the project became feasible.
